Description
We present natural juniper needle essential oil for perfumery, which comes from the species Juniperus communis. The product is known as Juniper needle natural essential oil for perfumery. Its composition comprises entirely natural volatile compounds of the coniferous plant. The compounds come from plantations with a natural cultivation method, so neither preservatives nor colourants are present in the liquid. The absence of such substances places purity among the leading advantages of the product. The advantages are complemented by steam distillation, which transfers the volatile carriers of the fragrance unchanged and thus preserves the purity of the pronounced olfactory profile. The profile relies on the monoterpene hydrocarbons, cited by the scientific literature as the main group of volatile substances in a raw material of clearly coniferous origin. The plant that provides the raw material is an evergreen coniferous shrub of the family Cupressaceae. The shrub forms needle-like leaves in whorls of three and develops slowly. The plantations grow in Bulgaria, while the species occurs throughout the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere and on soils of the most diverse origin. The growing conditions are reflected in the needles, more precisely in the only plant part used. The needles also determine the colour, as their pigments give the product a light yellow to yellowish-green tone. The tone is clearly visible in the clear liquid consistency, which the oil retains throughout its volume. The consistency carries a strong aroma with a fresh opening that gives way to resinous and herbal tones. The tones give the fragrance a dense coniferous direction.

Application
Juniper needle essential oil is used in perfumery as an ingredient for compositions with woody, resinous and forest notes. It is suitable for men's and unisex fragrances, as well as for herbal compositions with a fresh profile. It is included in eaux de toilette, scented body waters and deodorants with a herbal character. It can serve as part of the base notes in natural fragrance formulas and as a component in fixatives for natural fragrances. It is applied in fragrancing cosmetic products such as face, hand and body creams, skin serums, shower gels, toilet soaps and after-shave products. It is also used in massage oils, beard care oils, hair fragrancing products and SPA products. In the home it finds a place in room diffusers, air fresheners with natural ingredients, textile sprays and scented sticks for wardrobes. It is also added to handmade soaps, scented powders and personal fragrance jewellery.

 

Storage

Store natural juniper needle essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
